🇦🇹 KMU.DIGITAL: secure funding for your digitalisation project
KMU.DIGITAL is Austria’s funding programme for the digitalisation of SMEs. As a KMU.DIGITAL Certified Digital Consultant (CDC), I’ll show you in 15 minutes which grant suits you – and how to use it properly.
How much funding is realistic
- 80% grant for a status/potential analysis (max. €400 per tool)
- 50% grant for strategy consulting (max. €1,000 per tool)
- up to €3,000 consulting funding per company
- then a 30% grant for new investments (max. €6,000, project volume €2,000–€30,000)
⚠️ Funding is awarded subject to budget and in the order in which complete applications are received – there is no legal entitlement.

Is this right for you?
- You are an SME with your registered office or a business location in Austria
- You want to digitalise processes (CRM/tools, e‑commerce, IT security, digital administration)
- You want to do it properly (application first → costs only afterwards)
Some sectors/projects are excluded (e.g. primary agricultural/forestry production, certain purely digital business models etc.). We’ll check this in the initial consultation.
