Your software partner on site

Good software comes out of conversations. That is why we sit at the table with you for the meetings that matter, not just in a remote meeting.

On site across Tyrol.

We hold kick-offs, workshops and the rollout to your staff at your premises: in Innsbruck, Kufstein, Wörgl, Schwaz, Imst, Landeck, Reutte or Lienz. In between, we coordinate in remote meetings.

Same language, no detours.

No call centre, no ticket queue: you talk directly to the managing director and to the developers who build your software – in Tyrolean dialect, if you like.

We know the Tyrolean economy.

Two tourist seasons, cable cars, industry and trades: we have built software for clients in Innsbruck, in the Kitzbühel district and in the Skicircus, and we know how work gets done here.

Funding in view.

The State of Tyrol, the Chamber of Commerce and the federal government fund digitalisation. As a certified KMU.DIGITAL consultant, our managing director shows you which programme fits your project.

Developed in Tyrol, in use for years

For Innsbrucker Soziale Dienste GmbH we developed a GPS tracking system that gives people in need of care more freedom of movement. It runs in several facilities, and we have been working together for more than seven years.

We have been supporting the Egger Group from St. Johann in Tirol even longer: their web application for the product range has been in use since 2010.

★★★★★
Client for 7+ years

Christoph Niedermoser and his team impressed us with their professionalism, precision and reliability, both in consulting and in the implementation that followed.

Our requirements were implemented perfectly, and the GPS tracking system has now been in successful use in several facilities for a number of years.

Funding for digitalisation in Tyrol

For software and digitalisation projects of Tyrolean businesses there are programmes from the state, the Chamber of Commerce and the federal government. Which one fits depends on your industry, company size and project; the decision always lies with the funding body.

  • Tiroler Digitalisierungsförderung

The State of Tyrol funds the introduction of digital technologies that improve internal processes, such as software for process control or digital job management: up to 30 % for micro, 20 % for small and 10 % for medium-sized and large companies. According to the State of Tyrol, applications in the same form are possible from 1 January 2027. Websites and online shops are not eligible.

  • Tourism funding with a focus on digitalisation

For small and medium-sized businesses in tourism and leisure, including consulting, programming and installation costs, for example for booking or till systems.

  • Consulting funding and KMU.DIGITAL

The Tiroler Beratungsförderung of the State of Tyrol and the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce and the Austria-wide KMU.DIGITAL programme fund consulting before the project.

Frequently asked questions from Tyrol

Your question isn’t listed? We’ll answer it directly with the managing director in a free initial consultation.

Is there a software company in Tyrol that also comes on site?

Yes. wunderwerk software GmbH has its head office in St. Ulrich am Pillersee in the Kitzbühel district, plus offices in Vienna and Berlin. We hold kick-offs, workshops and training at your premises, whether in Innsbruck, Kufstein, Wörgl, Schwaz, Imst, Landeck, Reutte or Lienz; in between, we coordinate in a weekly remote meeting. Businesses in the district have their own page: Software development in the Kitzbühel district.

What funding is available in Tyrol for software and digitalisation projects?

With the Tiroler Digitalisierungsförderung, the State of Tyrol funds the introduction of digital technologies that improve processes, with up to 30 % for micro, 20 % for small and 10 % for medium-sized and large companies; applications are possible from 1 January 2027. Tourism businesses have their own programme, the Tyrolean tourism funding with a focus on digitalisation, which also covers programming costs. Consulting is funded by the Tiroler Beratungsförderung and KMU.DIGITAL. The funding check shows which one fits you.

Which industries in Tyrol do you develop software for?

wunderwerk develops software for tourism and hospitality, cable cars and ski resorts, industry and manufacturing, trades, retail, energy and social services. In Tyrol, our work includes a GPS tracking system for Innsbrucker Soziale Dienste and, since 2010, a web application for the Egger Group in St. Johann in Tirol; for the Skicircus we have been supporting a digital signage solution for more than ten years.

How much does it cost to have software developed in Tyrol?

That depends on the scope. Features, interfaces, platforms and the state of your data determine the effort, which is why wunderwerk doesn’t quote a flat price. Before the project starts you receive a transparent effort estimate, and we begin with a clearly defined first phase such as a prototype or MVP, usually in 4 to 8 weeks. You can get an initial estimate via the cost calculator or in a free initial consultation.

Do you only work for companies from Tyrol?

No. Our roots are in Tyrol, our clients are all over Austria, in Germany and in Switzerland. Our team works in Tyrol, Vienna and Berlin, remotely and on site.

Can you take over software developed by another provider?

Yes, after a paid technical and commercial analysis. wunderwerk reviews code, architecture, security, documentation, operations and the rights to the source code and shows whether the system can be stabilised and developed further or whether a new build is more economical. More under software modernisation.
