Why a partner from Tyrol?
We may still spell with the ß, but when it comes to software, we make no compromises. Four reasons why working across the border works well for Swiss companies.
We invoice in euros at Tyrolean hourly rates. For the same quality, more of your budget goes into what makes your product better – and because we develop with AI, custom software pays off for SMEs too.
Tyrol and Switzerland share a border, a time zone, a language and a mindset: punctuality, reliability, short decision paths. For workshops and the kick-off, we come to you – in Zurich, St. Gallen or Basel.
The Railjet takes around three and a half hours from Innsbruck to Zurich without changing, via Buchs and Sargans; St. Gallen and Winterthur are one connection away. For us, a workshop day in Zurich means: there in the morning, back in the evening.
On request, we run your software in a Swiss data centre, in your own infrastructure or in the EU. Data protection under the Swiss FADP and the GDPR, data processing agreement included.
What’s on your mind right now?
Choose your topic. Each page shows how we work, what it costs and what clients have achieved with it.
“Our products have too many variants for a price list.”
Variants, rules and prices in one configurator that creates quotes and is connected to your ERP, CRM or shop – for sales, dealers or end customers.
“Our customers should be able to keep track of orders, documents and status themselves.”
Portals for customers and partners or your own SaaS product with trial period, billing, multi-tenancy and operations that grow with your users.
“We never know exactly where our vehicles, equipment or people are.”
Locate assets via GPS and LoRaWAN, self-hosted in Switzerland or on your premises, compliant with the FADP and GDPR, without depending on someone else’s cloud.
“We need a solution that fits exactly how we work.”
Portals for customers and partners, internal tools or custom business software in the browser, connected to your existing systems.
“We need an app that people actually use.”
For customers, employees or as a product of its own: test it as an MVP within a few weeks first, then build it out into a finished app for iOS and Android and run it.
“Our software runs, but we don’t know for how much longer.”
Whether a legacy system that has grown over the years or a project built with Lovable, Cursor & Co.: we assess where it stands, stabilise it and make it secure and maintainable.
Over ten years of work for Switzerland
For over ten years, we have been developing and maintaining software for a Swiss industrial automation company that now runs in plants in Sweden, Italy and the Czech Republic. Here is what the CEO says about working with us:
We had the wunderworkers develop bespoke industrial software for creating recipes for a highly sensitive industrial process.
The collaboration was extremely professional from the outset: the team quickly understood our complex requirements, implemented them precisely and always paid close attention to maximum reliability and security. I would particularly like to highlight their technical know-how, clean documentation and fast response times for questions or change requests.
The recipe editor is now running in several plants in Sweden, Italy and the Czech Republic.
The software runs reliably, is intuitive to use and our customers are completely satisfied. We can recommend wunderwerk without reservation!

Your team. Your wunderworkers.
We are deliberately not a large agency, but not a lone freelancer either. We are a small, close-knit team of experienced software architects, full-stack developers and AI engineers with over 20 years of project experience.
Unlike freelancers, we offer resilience, team know-how and clean documentation, so projects stay stable in the long run and do not depend on any single person. Unlike large agencies, we work efficiently, quickly and at fair prices, without overhead or unnecessary rounds of meetings.
AI writes code. We build software.
Thanks to wunderOS and our wunderFactory.
AI has opened up programming to everyone: anyone can put a prototype together today. Whether it turns into software that holds up in day-to-day operation is decided afterwards – in architecture, security, testing and maintenance over the years. That is exactly where prompting and real expertise part ways.
That is why we built our own operating system: wunderOS runs our company from sales to development. At its heart is the wunderFactory, where our AI agents, the wunderBots, build to the architecture rules, standards and tests from 20 years of software development – led by experienced software architects.
The result is software built noticeably faster and more affordably – in the quality you hire us for. We are AI experts and use that to get the best out of your project.

More software for the same budget
The wunderBots handle the routine work. You pay for architecture, decisions and results – not for legwork.
Live in weeks, not months
From the workshop to the first usable version, with changes after that in days. You see early on what works.
Quality is built in, not bolted on
Tests, reviews and security checks run automatically in the wunderFactory with every change – not just when there is time.
Architects, not prompters
The AI executes, we decide: data model, interfaces, operations. That way your software stays maintainable and extensible five years from now.
Bottom line: Bespoke software on terms that make sense for SMEs too – built with AI, with software architects accountable for it.

Why us?
Frequently asked questions from Switzerland
Your question isn’t listed? We’ll answer it directly with the managing director in a free initial consultation.
Do you also work for companies in Switzerland?
Yes. For over ten years, wunderwerk has been developing and maintaining software for a Swiss industrial automation company; today it runs in several plants across Europe. We also work for clients in Austria and Germany. Collaboration works remotely and on site, and you won’t notice the border in the project – except perhaps for the dialect in the video call.
Do you invoice in Swiss francs or in euros?
wunderwerk issues quotes and invoices in euros, with an indicative amount in CHF on request. As an Austrian company, we invoice without Swiss VAT; the Swiss company declares the acquisition tax (reverse charge) itself. We are happy to work through this using your example in the initial consultation.
Can the software be hosted in Switzerland?
Yes. On request, wunderwerk runs your software in a Swiss data centre, in your own infrastructure or in the EU. Data protection under the Swiss FADP and the GDPR, including a data processing agreement. We clarify which option fits during the project, based on your data and requirements.
How often will you be on site with us?
We like to hold the kick-off and workshops at your premises in Switzerland, travelling by train or car. After that, we coordinate weekly by video and show you test versions regularly; we plan further on-site meetings as needed, for example for the rollout to your staff.
How much does it cost to have software developed?
That depends on the scope. Features, interfaces, platforms and the state of your data determine the effort, which is why wunderwerk doesn’t quote a flat price. Before the project starts you receive a transparent effort estimate in euros, and we begin with a clearly defined first phase such as a prototype or MVP, usually in 4 to 8 weeks. You can get an initial estimate via the cost calculator or in a free initial consultation.
